Who's who at Sanguin International Limited (UK)

Apart from my obsession with aeroplanes (and talking about them), I spend a lot of my time arguing with PC's and blaming Bill Gates. I am a very active member of the Sanguin Sports and Social Club. (see below for membership details) I also have a passionate interest in all scientific discoveries and new gadgets. What little spare time is left I spend fixing old LandRovers

I am no longer the proud possessor of a 30 year old British Aircraft having made the decision that although great to fly it doesn't offer a particularly comfortable environment to go to hot climates. I now own a French built American design Cessna Cardinal - more speed, endurance and capacity for cheap French wine and lots of electronic toys to play with.

Likes: France – especially the Languedoc, Cheese, Fish, Australian and South African wines and of course beer.
Dislikes: Politics, Bureaucratic organisations, US and Italian airports, peanut butter and voice mail.

Richard Whelan - (Director)

My spare time spent playing golf (and socialising afterwards in the bar), going to the gym 2 or 3 times a week (and socialising afterwards in the bar) and spending time with my 3 children (usually requires a drink afterwards to recover).

Mmmm -- seems to be a worrying theme developing here...

Elaine Pitts - (Director)

I'm a keen gardener and having filled my own to overflowing have started on an allotment in an attempt to grow some food – slugs and English weather permitting! Other main hobby is going to the gym every morning for that 'Wake Up & Feel-good Factor'. I'm sure it will work one day.

Rob Abrehart - (Software Development Manager)

I'm an enthusiastic runner and along with my fiancé (note to anyone who read my description previously - I upgraded from running with my family pet to trying to stay fit enough to run with Nic) spend a considerable amount of time running; having moved from Matlock to the wonderful town of Burton (sarcasm is optional here, depending on the reader and current quality of local life!). I struggle to find the hills I enjoyed in Matlock, but when I do I love nothing better than running up or down them!

My current running motto: Running is mostly fun and hard running is hardly anything but fun!

Apart from everything else I'm currently moving house and planning my wedding and honeymoon afterwards, we're off down under so any interesting aussie related travelling tips would be listened to appreciatively, and then probably disregarded – learning from mistakes is sensible and a good way to behave, but if they’re your own mistakes it makes the stories much more interesting.

Likes: Books with good characters; Running; Socialising (afterwards); Travelling (socialising before, during and afterwards - within reason of course!); Other things that are likeable.

Dislikes: Books without proper characters (apart from Harry Potter which is troublingly addictive!); Being injured or ill (so not able to run or socialise); various other dislikeable things.

I love meeting people of all nationalities. Travelling is my main hobby. My favourite countries are Greece and Cyprus. I can communicate in Greek but hope to be fluent in the language one day. My two daughters occupy a great deal of my time. My ambition is to travel around the world in my own time!!.

Andi Carey - (Software Developer)

I love music - absolutely any kind (except the bits in opera when they start singing), I'm a sucker for any hi-techery.

Music: Rammstein, Steve Hillage, System of a Down, Gong, Stones, Hendrix, Led Zeppelin etc. etc.

Hates: Goats.

Rebecca Stead - (Software Developer)

Hobbies: Windsurfing and camping. We have a VW T4 which we go off in as often as possible, our boards on the roof, bikes on the back, and a bed in the middle.

Likes: Socialising, dogs (especially Golden Retrievers) & chocolate.

Dislikes: DIY, (which is a bit of a problem, as we are currently doing our house up).

Jag Chandi - (Software Developer)

Hobbies:  Enjoy just about every sport apart from Rugby (participating more than watching). Played competitive tennis up until the age of 18, but for the last 2 years most of my time has been spent training my sister who is aiming for a world ranking. I also captain a indoor cricket team. Travelling is also an interest of mine and I have been to France, Germany, Holland, Spain, Italy, India, Thailand, Australia, New Zealand and Canada.

Likes: Sleeping, Bacardi and Stella Artois with a dash of lemonade.

Dislikes: Raisins and sultanas (dont exactly know why but I just do), Rugby and Television soaps because they waste your time.

James Rogers - (Software Developer)

I’m James Rogers (I also answer to Jim or “Hey You!” Or well pretty much anything). I’m a software developer, but I think that’s just an excuse for me to play with computers for the rest of my life. When not stuck in front of one of these machines I can normally be found with some kind of guitar in my hand, or some kind of tool as I seem to have become a handy man for most of my family. I am an avid reader, I’ll read pretty much anything and I probably have, however I’m currently reading a lot of sci-fi (I’m not a geek honestly...... Oh ok I’m a bit of a geek).  I’m also a bit of a social animal. I have a large circle of friends (one of the advantages of playing bass guitar in a band) and I am often either out enjoying their company over a glass or two, or in enjoying their company over a glass or two.

Dislikes: Apparently I don’t much care for brie on toast!
